Dun Laoghaire Harbour is a working harbour which relies on commercial income to fund the ongoing cost of maintaining and repairing the substantial infrastructure of this 200 year old man-made harbour; The future of the harbour, as described in our Masterplan and in the National Ports Policy is in terms of “maritime tourism, marine leisure, cultural amenity and urban redevelopment”.
